Unethical Conduct in the Republican Party

Tuesday, October 28 11:58pm Dear Diary, Read yesterday that Senator Ted Stevens from Alaska found guilty of unethical conduct. Hilarious that he’s still up for reelection. Gotta feel bad for those responsible voters who already sent in ballots voting for him, even if they are Republican voters. But it seems like these days, Democrats are the ones who are voting early, so I’m hoping this holds true. Maybe the Republicans’ desire for a “moral” leader will inspire them to vote Democratic after this verdict. Slim chance in Alaska, but there’s always the hope. Certainly will be strange if he gets reelected after being convicted. It certainly paints Alaskan of politicians in a bad light, especially after Sarah Palin was found guilty of unethical conduct. I’m hoping that people make the connection between Stevens and Palin, and see the government as truly corrupt. McCain’s asked him to step down, which seems strange considering that another candidate would have had to be selected six months ago to replace him. Fairly obvious that McCain’s trying to portray himself as a moral guy by trying to “get the cronies out of Washington” and “reform our government.” Right, McCain being associated with morality… Almost as funny as the questions reporter that Barbara West asked me the other day. Speaking of which, I find it completely absurd that West is taking offense to my response to her questions. I felt like I was fielding questions from the most uneducated person, still stuck in 1950s politics! She should be embarrassed for asking such ridiculous questions. Honestly, does she actually think that Barack and I would bring back socialism by governing under Marxist principles? This is clearly the plot of a far-right liberal to try to sway the undecided. Can’t figure out how people can be undecided. Honestly, isn’t the right choice pretty clear? Anyway, her husband is a media consultant for the GOP - I'm sure he put her up to this. Of course, David’s on my case for not taking her question seriously. But, it seems like that’s always the case. Am looking forward to finally being in the White House and not having to deal with campaign advisors anymore… Just realized itâ??s past midnight, and certainly past my bedtime. Though Iâ??m sure John McCain has been in bed for hoursâ?¦ Until next time, Joe
