“Subject: Obama quietly tramples the First Amendment
I truly thought this was a joke until I watched the short video of Judge Napolitano. Here is another law that separates citizens from the President.
New law makes it illegal to protest in Obama’s presence (or whomever he chooses)
This means that, wherever Obama is at, you do not have a right to ask him anything you want to. His secret service can have you arrested, fined and imprisoned for more than a YEAR if you ask him something he doesn’t like. Sound like he’s more like Hitler than Lincoln to you?
WATCH AND BE AMAZED AT HIS LATEST ATTEMPT TO STAGE A TAKE OVER OF AMERICA…
Click on the link below:HR 347.
HR 347 was originally signed in 1971 by President Richard Millhouse Nixon and it made it a federal crime to trespass on any property secured by the Secret Service.
This “controversial” update that was supposedly signed in “secret” basically covers this:
It is unlawful to enter a secured area of the White House and its grounds or the Vice President’s official residence and grounds. Also, a person caught trespassing on these grounds was able to plead that they did not knowingly trespass and claimed ignorance. So now it is up to law enforcement and prosecution to prove that the suspect did in fact have knowledge of this security status and knowingly trespassed.
The bill was debated “openly” for seven minutes on February 28th, 2011. When voted on, it was approved 399 “yes” votes to 3 “no” votes. President Obama signed it on March 8th of that year. It was a typical signing without any controversy as reported in e-mails. It was as routine as any bill signing and there was a public statement of its signing.
Fox also claimed that it would be considered a felony if you protested against the president and you would receive prison time for over a year. However, when this law was created by Nixon and updated by George W. Bush, it provided penalties for up to 10 years prison time; and not for protesting against the president, it would be for trespassing in a restricted area with a deadly weapon or the intent to do great bodily harm.
So, this just goes to show you, from chain e-mails to Fox News reports; we still cannot trust what we read and see unless we fact check for ourselves.
