Bullying in Schools Will Never End

The entire system is set up like a caste, designed to encourage varying levels of treatment and, yes, bullying.
Episodes like the one we saw last week on Glee might make for dramatic entertainment (and I loved the episode, I really did), but their treatment of quickly turned around bullies like Sebastian and Sue Syllvester was a joke—as are the many efforts to get rid of bullying in schools. I should know; I was both bullied throughout school, as well as a bully myself in the fifth grade, and when I tried to make high school more of an accepting, safe place through my work in several organizations, it certainly didn’t do any good.
