I don't even know if there is a Democratic contender for Governor of California. I do know Republican and professional CEO Meg Whitman is all over it with a massive campaign. Her ads run day and night. She recently rolled out attacks on Steve Poizner. Its like watching the perfect execution of a modern-day political campaign. In her first ad she has set the stage with the problems facing California and a little fear. Now she is beginning phase two: character asassination.

From the Left... CRICKETS.

Poizner is running for Democratic office. I feigned ignorance for the opening paragraph. But I have seen about 50 Whitman ads in the last month and have yet to hear anything about Poizner, aside from his role in the character attack ad mentioned above.

I assume Poizner must have to budget himself since he didn't make millions turning around Silicon Valley tech companies like eBay and HP. So he will probably start dropping bombs soon, having considered his budget and campaign length.

California is weird though. We hate Republicans but find ourselves often in such a mess that we call on them to dig us out, or in Schwarzenegger's case, let them tell us to let them dig us out. I guess us Californians are too busy smoking pot, advocating and having gay sex to budget properly. So with that, Whitman's got this gay, stoner hippy's vote. She talks about getting jobs to Cali, she talks about Revamping Education and getting the economy back on track. It's up to Poizner to win me back, what are You're issues Poizner? We're in deep.
