Fox has become the worst kind of corporation. Its News division is an agent of division. Fox, through its cable news operation, is the meanest kind of corporate operator. The company promotes racism, religious bigotry, stirs up hate and fear for the sole purpose of making money

I received this in the morning email from Media Matters --

"It's been clear for some time now that the culture of accountability at Fox News doesn't, you know ... exist. If you're a Fox News employee, you can get away with pretty much anything. Photoshopping the faces of New York Times reporters to make them ugly caricatures of themselves? No problem

. Bringing on a racist anti-Semite to attack the African-American presidential candidate? Nothing to worry about. Cropping video of the president to claim he spoke for terrorist sympathizers? Give that man a raise

But if there's a poster child for Fox News' permissive attitude toward media malpractice, it's Glenn Beck. After all, this is the guy whose attack on the president as a "racist" cost the network millions in ad revenue, and the worst he got was Rupert Murdoch's enthusiastic "good on ya!"

Progressives and fair-minded Americans spend hours railing against Fox News and to little if any effect. It is time to boycott Fox.

Not Fox News!

Few Americans who use their thinking caps watch Fox News. The Fox News gang of fringe marketers, would welcome a boycott. They could use it as a selling tool, to whip up their deluded and fearful viewers into believing that thinkers, who Fox call liberals and progressives, are afraid of Fox News kind of "news." The Fox Corporation would use a boycott of its news division as a marketing opportunity.

It is time to boycott the entire Fox empire, the News Corporation and Rupert Murdoch money generating machine. This means Fox TV. This means popular Fox product such as "American Idol." This mean Fox film. (No watching Fox movies.) This means saying, 'No,' to "Vampires Suck," to "Avatar," on DVD, to the " Unstoppable," to "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," and to any other Fox made and / or distributed movie.

A total boycott of Fox is needed to get Murdoch and the News Corporation to act responsibly. Why such a massive boycott? The answer is, one can not keep supporting those who are out to destroy America and Americans, by race baiting, and by stirring up fear and hate to make a buck.
