It seems pretty clear to me on a day-to-day basis that the Republican Party cares little for actual Americans. They are doing all they can to hurt Americans by stalling and altering any healthcare reform. They fight to keep a broken and corrupt health insurance program in place that excludes millions of Americans and makes the rest gamble that they will NEVER get sick or hurt, otherwise they stand a 50 percent chance of going bankrupt. They support a war that is waged against poverty stricken people in a land that looks like the surface of Mars and from where none of the 9/11 bombers came from. They use phrases like War on Terror to make us believe there is an army of terrorists out there. Guess what? There are a few nutbags that we should be focussing on with intelligence and police work, not 'Boots on the Ground' armies. So why is it that the GOP is always on the wrong side of morality and logic, yet get the votes they need?

They use Family Values and Faith to get votes. They pander to honest Americans, who work hard, go to church and pay taxes. They speak of the corruption of American families by homosexuals, socialists, liberals, black people, immigrants, nudity, Hollywood, video games and all the classic fear mongering devices used to stir conservative backlash after conservative backlash. These GOP officials, who make a habit of name calling and obstructionist politics, are on the payroll of corporate America. That is their master and their job is to fool as many Americans as possible into believing a third party insurance behemoth is the best way to keep healthcare affordable and high quality. And they'll do the same for your industry, so long as it takes deception and secrecy to do business and you've got the money.
I would agree that Big Business is part of the strength of the USA, but when it hurts its own people through profiteering, toxic waste, low standards, wage slashing, robot workers, outsourcing, irresponsibility while being too big to fail... something is wrong. If I'm not mistaken, the point of life is to have a family, food to eat and your health, not to own seven mansions, two jets and and earn a $2 million wage while simultaneously tanking a Fortune 500 company.
In school I was taught that a key part of Henry Ford's business model was to pay his workers enough to afford his product. Look at Detroit now. From those humble ideas Detroit drove down worker wages, incorporated robots to eliminate wage sucking workers and increase profits. Guess what, Robots don't drive cars. And neither do minimum wage earners. But CEO pay continued climb, until you have a company whose head is so heavy it can't standup anymore. Then comes the American people, with their generous -$700 Bil bankbook to give this piece of shit company a crutch. LEt them die, it's called Economic Darwinism. Shitty, budenous companies fail while trendsetting innovative ones prosper.
The GOP's one thing they could count on was fiscal responsibility and that has long been squandered. All that is left now are lies about gays/socialists/fill in the blank undermining society. They throw out labels and deliver Red, White and Blue speeches about God and country, meanwhile they float their supporters down the river by denying them health coverage. I guarantee more Red Staters could use government Healthcare than blue staters. But if you attach God and a bad title, they would vote for the Devil himself rather than for a black socialist.
How about, instead of wars against our own people, or against a phantom army of terrorists we wage a war on lying, just-say-no, in-the-closet, hypocrite, corporately employed, fuck your neighbor for a buck Republican mutherfuckers. And the next time you see some suit-wearing GOP liar speaking against healthcare, remember he is not protecting Americans from socialism, he is protecting Corporations from profit obstructing laws. And when he talks about families and Jesus, remember Sen. Larry Craig (R), who liked to bash gays and praise family values, but got caught trying to felate strangers in an airport bathroom.
