The objectivity of Fox News continues to come into question, and it comes through in its parent companies actions as they cut a $1 million dollar check to the Republican Governors Association. According to CNN, Democratic Governors Association executive director Nathan Daschle wrote, "I request that you add a formal disclaimer to your news coverage any time any of your programs cover governors or gubernatorial races between now and Election Day," and went on to say, "[…]If you do not add a disclaimer, I request that you and your staff members on the 'fair and balanced' side of the network demand that the contribution be returned."
Obviously this shows the continued disrespect Fox News showcases in their day-to-day operations. This is an obvious example that this 'news' network is further leaning to the right, and shying away from a neutral news organization.
This isn't a surprise, however, for Fox News seems to be a source of entertainment and opinion rather than stone-cold facts. If anyone thinks Bill O'Reilly, Glen Beck or Sarah Palin can be impartial one would have to laugh, for they definitely fall into the entertainment category, and are making millions from it. They could easily be objective and fair, but that wouldn't suffice for the Fox News faithful, and wouldn't pad their pockets.
The true colors of Fox News continues to show. The colors of right-wing propaganda.
