Okay, last week the Gallop poll predicted that the Democrats were in for a whopping loss, with Republicans leading the Democrats in the generic congressional tracking poll by ten points. A historic high for the GOP. Yesterday in the newest poll, the GOP lead has been cut to zero, with each party tied at 46% among registered voters. But the GOP still has the enthusiasm advantage. GOP voters are more likely to vote.

Traditionally, people begin to pay attention to the mid-term elections after Labor Day, and to those folks who were ready to hand this government over to the Republican-Tea Party, America is saying: Not so fast!

Democrats must know that this election is not lost. All the Democratic leaders have to do is to make it crystal clear what a GOP-Tea Party Congress would mean. Show the America people the face of the GOP Tea Party and America will reject those guys. Show America the Tea Party-GOP by letting America hear from the Tea Partiers own mouths what their plans are.

The GOP-Tea Party wants a radical take down of America. To the seniors, the GOP-Tea Party plans to toss out Social Security and Medicare. To young people who are struggling to get an education, the GOP-Tea Party wants to abolish the Department of Education, put an end to student grants and loans. To workers, the Tea Party GOP wants to ease up on safety regulations in mines, on oil rigs, at every job place. To those among us who may be laid off, the GOP-Tea Party wants to end unemployment benefits. To those who believe in personal freedoms, the Tea Party-GOP wants to end a woman's right to choose, even in the case of rape and incest, and the health of the mother. This GOP-Tea Party is a radical party. This GOP-Tea Party is not the party of Reagan, or even the party of Bush, this is an extreme radical party.
