LaRouche: Good Source of Info?

The Man, the Myth, The NutjobI had a phone call last night from the LaRouche people, who strangely like Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Vampires, are dangerous to let in your door (or on you phone). They wanted me to support their cause- routing out the ignoble and banker-tied members of the Obama Administration. Sounds all right, but  particularly scary to me, was their call to action to get out the people in the Obama Administration who want to take away basic human rights from the weak and the poor, the handicapped, and the less-advantaged. (They believe that Obama is in some kind of secret group that believes the weak should not survive.)

Sample quotes from his web site seem humorous until I started to realize that people actually think this guy is some kind of mis-understood genius. 

LaRouche on Obama:

He's being conditioned to say the right thing. He's saying these things, none of which he actually believes. If he got a recommendation, 'Why don't you have a member of your family killed?' he'd probably say, 'Yeah, you've gotta do it.' "

Whoa there buddy, WTF are you talking about and why aren't people talking more about what a crack-head you are? Your supporter yesterday didn't compare Hitler and Obama, but made it sound as if Obama was really against Health Care Reform, basing the allegations on a mis-quoted Meet the Press Interview that Larry Summers gave. The United States currently spends more on health care per capita than any other nation on the planet, but has sub-par care when compared to other developed nations. Talking about accountability in hospitals is not the same as "murdering" poor and disadvantaged people. Mis-representation of the facts is irresponsible and wrong, when either side does it. Your valid points about the banking industry's possible ties to the Obama Administration are quickly being obscured by your crazy statements.

People are getting their information from this organization and are believing it as fact. When are Americans going to wake up and smell the coffee and realize that these "Newsletters" are no more factual than the mainstream press that they claim is biased and false.

Still don’t believe me that the man is nuts? Check out Wikipedia, admittedly not the best source, but this one has plenty of good links. LaRouche has been convinced for years that he would be assassinated and believes he had a Manchurian Candidate out to assassinate him. I say, by all means, let the man speak freely so that people can see what an utter and total nut-job he is.
